NATURAL WORLD

My life and career were busy, shaped by the fast pace of a large, dynamic city. There wasn’t much time to pause and appreciate the incredible beauty and restorative energy of nature. Retiring on Vancouver Island gave me both the time and a sense of responsibility to visually express the preciousness of our surroundings. I’m constantly in awe of the shifting light, the power of the ocean, and the dual nature of the natural world—both nurturing and destructive. With each new painting, I have the opportunity to capture and share a unique perspective on the beauty of nature.
