The decision to paint this image came as a result of the way the surfers were positioned in the water and how the colours were so perfectly arranged.  It is such a beautiful configuration that the memory of it had to be recorded.  Anyone who has stood on the shore at Long Beach, Tofino can relate to the majesty of the place.
