The sunsets we see on the West Coast are epic and being able to create this diptych was such a gift.  Some of you may be wondering why I chose to paint it as a diptych instead of one 40” x  40” panel.  The thinking here is that by creating the pieces in two parts, it allows the collector to hang the piece in one place but have the flexibility of hanging each piece separately.
